Oct.2,2002: I have been remiis in my duties of supplying news!! I cannot believe that my last report is the subject of my new report! We still don't have a real release date for this famous *rumoured* album. There is a greates hits due out Oct.15th. They are no longer on contract with reprise, so this is why we can't get the album. SIGH...

Dec.10,2001: Stevie has handed over, to Lindsay, 17 songs to be sifted through an re-worked for the Mac Album. There is a rumour that Crhistine will play on some tracks but not tour.

July 30,2001: The following mac members are holed up in a house makin' music are: Lindsey, Mick and John. When Stevie is off her tour, she will join them. LONG LIVE THE MAC!!

April 17,2001: I was watching "Millionaire" tonight and the following question came up- "In 1977, the band Fleetwood Mac sang "..don't stop thinking about", what was it?" We'd all be millionaires if the questions were all like this!

April 10,2001 Yipee!!! Reprise has made an official announcement...Fleetwood Mac is back together, WITHOUT Christine to record in the fall with a World Tour in 2002!!!

April 8,2001 Rollingstone.com has posted an interview with Mick Fleetwood.He says that he, Stevie and Lindsey have about 20 songs they are sifting through for an album they intend to start recording in September. Looks like Christine may not be in the picture....

March 3,2001There has been some info circulating that the band may be getting together to work on an album and possibly touring. I have no confirmation on this, but they did play for the Clintons in January...(sans Christine).

March.19,2002:Stevie has been involved with a great many benefit concerts including Breast Cancer and Artists Rights. As far as i know she is still working on the new Fleetwood Mac album.

March 1,2002: ROBBED!! She was robbed of her Grammy by a bonnie raitt Wannabe-Hack!! I could handle it if she lost to the real Bonnie...but that Lucinda chick isn't even in the right category(too christian/country). Sigh..

Feb.9,2002: Stevie has a Grammy nomination for "Best Rock Vocal Performance, Female" for "Planets of the Universe".GO STEVIE!!! (...She HAS to win...)

Sept.19,2001: Stevie & Sheryl Crow have Cancelled the Today Show concert. Sheryl crow will be involved in the benefit concert Friday night. No word on Stevie...

Sept.12,2001: In light of this tragedy in NY & DC, Stevie cancelled the Radio City Music Hall show,as well as the Rochester,NY gig. The Atlantic city Taj Mahal venue is on still, so far.

July 20,2001: Stevie has re-booked the following shows: Sept.4 for Virginia Beach; Sept.7 for Charlotte,NC; Raleigh date to be confirmed. Tickets already bought to be honored.

July 23,2001: Stevie has larengitis and has postponed the following shows: July 24 in Virginia beach,VA; July 25 Raleigh,NC and july 27 in Charlotte,NC. Lets all wish her the best!

July 5,2001: The tour starts tomorrow. I am not going to be able to go YET AGAIN!!! because I have been laid off work and noe face eviction from my domicile...could life get any suckier?

May 16,2001: Everything is so great with Stevie's "Trouble in Shangri-la". On Much More Music in Canada,(an extension of the muchmusic channel) the viewers get to choose 5 Videos a day to air on the show "mmmTop5". Stevie is Number ONE!! Here's the scoop on the talk show circuit with Stevie...May 3 is Letterman, which is always fun to see them chat. May 4th, she is on the Rosie O'Donnell show. I hope she doesn't let Elmo upstage her! No news on a Leno gig yet...

April 4,2001: Only 28 days left until we get our paws on "Trouble in Shangri-La" ! The first Video expected will be for "Every Day".I haven't heard if one will be made for "Planets..". It has just begun it rotation on Adult Contemporary stations. Lets all root for major crossover action! Let Stevie show the "Brittanys" of the world how its really done!! ~Rock on Gold Dust Woman~

March 22,2001: The other night, this years' nominees to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame were inducted. Stevie nicks was out and about there. I guess she is out circulating,getting her face seen to pre-promote "Shangri-la". There are only 40 days left until her new album....

March 16,2001: This bit of news is from the Nicks Fix...WBOS, a radio station in Boston, has premiered Stevie's soon to be released single, "Planets of the Universe". It met with great positive feedback (rock on...)

March 8,2001: The date set for the release of Stevie's "Trouble in Shangri-La" is now May 1st. This comes from a new Rolling Stone interview with Stevie. Hang in there kiddies...

March 3,2001: Well, in case you haven't heard...
Stevie Nicks has a NEW album due out and its called "Trouble in Shangri-La".
Its gonna be a rocker, folks! Some real power-house names are involved in this one.
Sheryl Crow, Sarah McLaughlin & Macy Gray for example!
There is definately a youthful edge.
She will release two of my absolute favorite demos. "Planets of the Universe" originally a
piano demo,but now it ROCKS!(so cool) and
"Sorcerer", which was covered by Marilyn Martin for the "Streets of Fire" soundtrack.Preliminary date was April 10,but it might be pushed to May.

LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM NEWS
March 19,2002:I realise that its been awile since i had news for Lindsay. He was totally screwed by the record company with his "Gift of Screws" album. They refused to release it because it is not commercially viable. What a gyp! This material could possibly be included on the new Mac album as the majority of the songs featured Mick, John and Chris.

April 17,2001: The "Behind the Music Special" has been post-poned. We will have to wait in June...Good news is, the new album (yet untitled?) should be out around then.

March 5,2001:VCR ALERT!Behind the Music featuring Lindsey Buckingham is going to air April 22,2001!

April 4,2001:Lindsey's album is tentatively set for release June 19. Not cast in stone, of course... Meanwhile, he will be featured in an episode of Behind the Music this spring.Apparently filming has wrapped on this. That should be a great one.

March 3,2001: Lindsay is also hard at work. His long awaited album, apparently in the works since "Out of the Cradle" is due in April or May as well.
Its not a Fleetwood Mac project as originally rumoured, even though some members such as Mick Fleetwood are guest players. No title has been leaked yet.
